Friday Local Flavors May 28th

We’re just trying to squeeze as much as humanly possible into May :-)

We will be having our 2nd Local Flavors dinner! Reservations only, $25 per person. 6pm

It’s a 3 course dinner, featuring all local foods (well, as many as possible!)

Spinach Salad from Apple Ridge Produce and Aqua Ranch’s Sweet Basil Vinaigrette

Baked Macaroni & Cheese with Basil’s Harvest Pasta and Ropp cheese
Roasted Asparagus from Apple Ridge Produce
Beef Kabobs from Vermilion Valley Meats

Strawberry Shortcakes- Eggs for the cakes from PrairiErth Farms…Strawberries from Braffet Farms of Carlock and Whipped Cream made from Kilgus Dairy cream (and I am picking the berries!) In the case that the berries are unavailable with Braffet, we will be using another local berry vendor :-)

We will have homemade challah served with an herbed butter as well.
