If you've been in before, you know that we're a small restaurant (for now, at least) and because of this,
we only have room to prepare 3 soups a day. Our customers are constantly asking us "When are you going
to have that butternut-squash bisque again"? or "Can I get that chicken enchilada soup today"?
We really hate to see people disappointed when we don't have their favorite soup that day.
So what we're going to do is allow customers to sign up for our 'Soup and Sandwich Newletter'. Each week,
we're going to send out an email listing what at least 2 or the soups each day are going to be for the entire week.
In addition to the soup, we're going to feature a sandwich each week.
It may be a sandwich off our regular menu or it may be something special we've cooked up (was Kelly's
mom Pam in town and made her famous egg-salad? Or maybe Jamie went crazy again and it's his favorite giant
roast beef / portabella mushroom /caramelized onion monstrosity!). Any time you come in and order the special
sandwich of the week and say you saw it in the newsletter, you'll get a cookie with your sandwich for free!
From time-to-time, we may also include information about special events that Kelly's Bakery and Café is participating
in, such as staying open late for concerts at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum or Tour de Chocolate with the Downtown
Bloomington Association.
